Leeds are having a wonderful season under Garry Monk, who has completely transformed the side from a mediocre mid-table side to a promotion chasing one.

The ownership situation has been relaxed and the money is there for Monk to spend this month, as Leeds push for automatic promotion.

Their impressive 1-0 win over Derby has fans believing this might be the season they return to the big time.

Leeds have won 10 out of there last 13 games and are undefeated since early December, and with some key additions this month they can push for promotion.

Their most important player is top scorer Chris Wood who has scored 14 league goals but the most impressive player has been centre back Pontus Jansson, who alongside Kyle Bartley, have been one of the best defensive partnerships in the division.

The work rate and ethic is bang on and as long as Leeds sell no key players they should last the pace.

Here are TWO players they should loan in this week to enhance their promotion chances.....

Ashley Fletcher

One of the Whites' targets this window has been West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher with the former Manchester United youngster struggling for game time in the Premier League.

He played a starring role in Barnsley's promotion from League 1 scoring 9 goals.

The 21-year-old seemingly isn't up to the rigours of the Premier League yet but he could play off Chris Wood in the Championship to improve his game.

He'd score some useful goals and inject some pace up front.

Sergi Canos

Leeds have been engrossed in a battle with Brentford for the loan signature of Norwich winger Sergi Canos, who is a former Liverpool youngster.

Canos was brilliant in the Championship for Brentford last year, scoring 9 goals but has failed to find that sort of form at Norwich.
